Clivemate is intended be practical and fun.

We include a widget on our homepage that shows the weather. We are working on another that links to the Feed Your Passion food portal to download recipes.

Widgets can be used to build a website. One day your users may create a profile for themselves that determines which widgets load when they visit your site, so they receive only the information they need. Don't expect the first generation of these websites to be cheap to build. But once the components exist, wait for a revolution in surfing as visitors expect to control information.
