Quadro Engineering

Our first project for Quadro was post work on an MPEG1 file that needed enhancing, plus be given new titles, an opening sequence and menus, before being output to HDTV PAL and NTSC DVDs.

Quadro asked us to model the F10 when it was still under development, so that they could begin training their salesforce. In this version we hid the internal motors and highlighted the sieves and grinding mechanism.

9 particle systems were needed to show how food passed through the suite, being double ground to a fine powder. The final 1:30 minute animation was originally output to AVI for Powerpoint, then altered so that it could be inserted in the tradeshow demo reel and output to HDTV DVD.

It was important to match the timing, lighting and textures to provide continuity between the two sets of animations.
