| Cambridge Santa Claus Parade | Website design and construction. This website had been maintained by volunteers but it was difficult for them to keep the site up-to-date. As the 2007 parade was loomed, the site still had last year’s news. C.R.Visuals agreed to become a sponsor of the Parade and provide web design and maintenance pro bono. | Pathways Therapy | Pathways Therapy was looking to update their website with a fresh new look, as well as revise the content. This is a busy clinic and the most difficult challenge we confronted was finding time to meet and discuss content and design. | Jema Therapeutics | Website design. Jacqueline Jurchuk was referred to C.R. Visuals by Stretch Your Life. | LC Kitchener Campus | Website re-design and maintenance. The campus offers professional courses on cookery and recreational cooking classes for gourmets and team-building. We were hired to evaluate their marketing in Waterloo Region and to devise 3 brochures with a common visual style. We were also asked to edit and re-write the copy to attract students. | Canadian Sugar Institute | Website maintenance in ColdFusion, Screensaver / online contest.In 1999, the Canadian Sugar Institute website was designed by Whitespace and built in partnership with C.R.Visuals. We took over maintenance of the site, re-structuring it behind the scenes as information was added, and optimizing it for search engines. | Artisan Cheese Marketing | Website design.To inform people about her new enterprise, the Cheese Education Guild, Kathy Guidi began with a logo, a flier and a mailing list. Her reputation attracted prospects but they wanted to know more and asked for her web address. A mutual client recommended C.R.Visuals. Originally, Kathy wanted a simple design that reflected the hand-crafted look of her fliers. The result was a website loaded with text. It was soon producing more leads than she had anticipated and her company was a hit. Three years later Kathy’s graduating students were asking to become instructors in her company and hinting that the website needed an overhaul to expand the brand. | 2004 – 2011 | |||

| Toronto Central Community Care Access Centre | Intranet cleanup, website design, screensaver. Before the CCACs were consolidated the Toronto centre needed a website. | Humber College, SAT | Website re-design. Humber’s website reflected its many schools and departments. SAT alone ran 5 or 6 websites, some of which were hosted off-site. The College decided to rein in with the creation of a single style and masthead to which every school must conform. SAT asked C.R. Visuals to develop a template and style guide that would allow all of its departments to ease their websites into the new overall formatting. We were to move all the content into the new design and solicit other departments within the school to submit new content. Lastly we provided mentoring and tutoring to in-house staff to maintain the site. | 2003 | |||
| Humber Arboretum | Website re-design.The Humber Arboretum website is maintained by Humber College School of Applied Technology. The School invited C.R.Visuals to re-design the site which had become stale and out-of-date. | TVOntario | E-Learning consultations, style guide. Background: TV Ontario was mandated to create high school equivalency courses online. First year offerings included English and Math. After their team developed the first ILC website we were asked to review it. To begin we read the government guidelines for high school courses and the curricula. We then suggested ways to simplify the interface, create greater consistency, and clarify activities screen by screen. Finally, we created the style guide and a list actionable recommendations. | 2003 | |||
